Visayas

The most popularly known islands for travelers to the Philippines and is one of the three principal geographical divisions, along with Mindanao and Luzon. It consists of several islands, primarily surrounding the Visayan Sea. Its population are referred to as the Visayans.

It had been divided into three (3) regions which as follows:

• Western Visayas – Region VI
• Central Visayas – Region VII
• Eastern Visayas – Region VII
