Tropical Storm “FALCON” continues to move in a North Northwest direction.
Location of Center: (as of 10:00 a.m.) 330 km East of Basco, Batanes
Coordinates: 20.6°N, 125.4°E
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph
Movement: North Northwest at 19 kph
Forecast Positions/Outlook:
Saturday morning: 500 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes
Sunday morning: 1,030 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes or at 370 km West Northwest of Okinawa, Japan

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signal # 1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.
TS “FALCON” is expected to enhance the southwest monsoon and will bring rains over Luzon and Visayas.
Gale Warning is issued over the eastern seaboard of the country and the western seaboard of Luzon and of Visayas.
The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 p.m. today and the hourly updates.
